This is a Cinderella story that will melt the most cynical heart.
Susan Boyle, the British singer, is an instant sensation!
Over 85.2 million viewers have seen her on YouTube in just one week – a record –
to watch her sing “I Dreamed A Dream“ from Les Miserables.
Born with brain damage, she was taunted all her life because she is slow.
Asked how she had the confidence to sing in front of a large audience, she says:
” I just had the ability to keep going. You have to keep going.”

…..a beautiful, inspiring video
of Nick Vujicic, born with no limbs, speaks to students
whose tears run down their cheeks, whose love pours out to him.
Nick has found the purpose of his life and has become strong
through the agony of learning how to overcome what had defeated him from birth.
The miracle we are looking for is inside each of us.·

I know there is a lot of ‘hype’ in the news right now about ketamine and its relief for depression. Do you currently have patients who are treated with ketamine and what have their results been? I am currently working with a phsyciatrist and CBT therapist to relieve major depression with very little results. I’ve read a lot about the ketamine treatment and am seriously thinking about finding someone who uses this therapy. Any information on your experiences with this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have patients whose depression responds rapidly to ketamine, either intranasal or under the tongue. It takes a great deal of time to post their case reports, not easy with my busy schedule.

My husband has been afflicted with rsd for over 30 years. He has tried every pharmaceutical combination, including ketamine. He also has had a intrathecal pump and spinal cord stimulator without success. Ketamine infusion therapy appeared to work at larger doses but no one will order follow up nasal ketamine. He has gone through opiod detox. He has attempted to naturally detox his system, been on large doses of amino acids, accupuncture and SCIO. I am now looking into essential oils. He is in constant pain and able to do only ADL’s. Do you have any suggestions? We reside in PA

I have seen extremely severe cases respond to the glial modulators I prescribe. It’s not one drug. It’s the whole system. Without major investment in research, no one can say how many are helped by any single therapy now in existence. But in those who have gone into complete remission on the medications I prescribe, they have been pain free for several years. Others may experience some degree of relief. There is no way to predict.
